Title: Moana
Released: 2016
Rated: PG
Moana is Disney’s second film this year after Zootopia. Moana is a 16 year old girl who will become the new chief, but keeps going back to the ocean because she dreams of being a way finder. Her father the chief does not want her to go out in the ocean, but her grandma believes that is necessary to find out who she is. Her grandma believes the ocean chose Moana to bring back the heart of Te Fiti, the island that Maui stole her heart from.
There are a number of songs in the movie like one of them is called Shiny that is sung by a crab that lives in the realm of monsters named Tamatoa. I really like the music like We Know The Way. You can check out the soundtrack on YouTube here.
The ocean is a character and is Moana’s friend. By the end of the film Moana and Maui got the heart back to the island, and Moana’s people become way finders again.

Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls is hosting a #IamMoana feature on Twitter. They asked “What makes you like Moana” and this was my response
Everything is by design; I break the mold. Born w/disability, life is not easy but I have the heart & the strength to keep going #IAmMoana pic.twitter.com/2y6Dely2DN
